Alabama Division Sons of Confederate Veterans Raises $3,055 for Alabama Charities

Members of DeKalb Rifles Camp 1824 Sons of Confederate Veterans Golf Team participated in the Alabama Division SCV Golfing Tournament in Cullman, Alabama. The tournament was held Friday morning, June 10, 2016, at Terri Pines Country Club during the Alabama Division SCV Reunion and was a joint venture between the Alabama Division and the local Camp, Thomas Jefferson Denney 1442. Mike Eddy of the Cullman Camp was the tournament director,
A total of forty-eight golfers participated. Funds raised during the tournament totaled $3,055.00 and will be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Alabama and Cullman Cares for Kids.
