Happy New Year from the Prattville Dragoons

Another holiday season has past.  Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year from the Prattville Dragoons, Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 1524!  This year brings more sesquicentennial memorial events throughout the South.  Refer to your issues of the Confederate Veteran magazine for event announcements or go to the SCV national website, scv.org and check the calendar and attend and participate in some of these important Southern and Confederate heritage events near where you reside.  There will be many reenactments of the sesequicentennial anniversary of some of the glorious victories of the Confederate forces fighting for their independence in the War Between the States.  This coming week marks the first camp meeting of the 2012 new year at Shoneys in Prattville.  These monthly camp meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 7pm (or get there at 6pm to partake of the delicious Shoneys hot dinner buffet).
