Enjoy Confederate Flag Day with the Prattville
Dragoons at the Dismukes' property on Peninsula Lane, just south of Millbrook
on Hwy 143. FREE hotdogs, soft drinks, kid's activities, historical explanation
of Confederate flags and entertainment by the Shiloh Mountain Boys!
The date is
Saturday 3 March from 11:00 - 3:00.
The Shiloh Mountain Boys will provide their
usual excellent bluegrass gospel entertainment with other songs of the mid
1800's period.
There will be games and a "bouncy house" for the kids,
free hot dogs, chips and soft drinks and excellent Southern fellowship.
The
Prattville Dragoons will have several Confederate Flags on display some of
which can easily be seen from Interstate 65.
This event is open to the public
so make your plans to attend! BRING LAWN CHAIRS!
DIRECTIONS: If using a GPS
guided device, put in Peninsula Lane, Millbrook Alabama.
From Main St.
in Millbrook, go south until the road makes a sharp curve to the right as you
begin to enter the I-65 entrance ramp. Look to your left and you will see an
old paved road. There will be signs to follow as you enter that road, which is
Peninsula Lane. The event will be about 1/2 mile down this road on the right.
