Presbyterian Minister Will Speak at June Meeting
Pastor Michael Howell of Montgomery
will be our speaker for June and will speak on the "Great Revival" of
1863 and the Army of Northern Virginia.
Pastor Howell was born and raised in Hartselle, Alabama, and educated at
Jacksonville State University and the Reformed Theological Seminary. He
has pastored churches in Mississippi and Alabama. In 2004, he and his family moved to
Montgomery, where he is the assistant pastor at Trinity Presbyterian
Church. He and his wife Frosty have four
children and (currently) six grandchildren. Their three sons have all served
in the Marine Corps, with eight deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan among them. The Dragoons camp meeting will again be held on the second Thursday of the months, June 12th at 7pm at the Shoney's in Prattville on Cobbs Ford Rd. Come early at 6pm if you would like to get yourself a delicious Shoney's buffet dinner and fellowship awhile with compatriots of the Prattville Dragoons.
